About Us

Rebel Tattoo Riga is a private tattoo studio that first opened its doors in 2015 and is founded by artist Regina Renjute. Studio is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance from Old Town, at Stabu Street 10 k-4.

Our studio is not only bright and spacious, but also safe and meets mandatory hygiene standards. Our goal is to provide a thoughtful and individual approach to each client and to help create a unique and customized tattoo design for every taste.

We have several artists, each with their own tattoo style, so you can find the right artist just for you.

Each artist sets their own tattoo prices, but here is the average prices:

Minimum price – 60 EUR

Medium size – 130-180 EUR

Full day session starting price 380 EUR

Please contact the artist directly to find out the price of your desired tattoo. Make sure that the artist’s style matches the style of the tattoo you have in mind.

– Once the tattoo is finished, it is wrapped in plastic wrap.

– The wrap should be removed after 2-3 hours, washed with warm water and antibacterial soap,

patted dry with a dry towel and then applied with a thin layer of cream, which can be purchased in the salon.

– The cream should be applied 2-3 times a day until the tattoo has healed. 

– The tattoo takes 7-14 days to heal.

– You can take a shower, but it is not advisable to stay there too long.

– Do not take a bath, sauna, sunbathe or scratch.

– Do not play sports for the first 4-5 days.

– If a “second skin” film is applied, it must be taken off individually according to the artists rules (usually 24h – 3 days), the rest of the care is the same as above.

Unfortunately, we do not have free parking. The most convenient parking is at Skonto Stadium and the closest is the underground car park on the roundabout by the church on Gertrude Street.

– Alcohol is prohibited the day before and on the day of your appointment.

– It is advisable to get a good night’s sleep, have something to eat and bring a sugary drink to help keep your blood sugar in check during the tattooing process.

– We take lunch/dinner breaks during tattoo session so you can order food deliveries.

-It is not recommended to do sports in the morning before the tattoo and 4-5 days after.

– Do not take antibiotics or other medications that may affect the working process or the tattoo healing.

– It it forbidden to tattoo severely sunburned skin.

– Tattoo cannot be done on psoriasis, varicose veins, scars that are not healed entirely, allergies etc. About other skin diseases please contact dermatologist in advance. Otherwise your tattoo session can be cancelled.

We do tattoos for people from the age of 18. From the age of 16 we only allow a person with a parent or guardian. Both the parent/guardian and the minor need to bring proof of identity.

You cannot bring friends, pets or children to your appointment as we have limited space in the waiting room and unnecessary noise can be a major distraction for the artists.

You cannot have epilation or laser hair removal before tattooing.

Each artist is responsible for providing touch-up services to their clients. Please contact your chosen artist, whose style best matches your desired tattoo, to learn more about their touch-up policy, as it may vary depending on the tattoo style and artist.

Appointment can be refused if:

– Artist determines that the client’s health/skin condition does not allow tattooing.

– Client is taking medication that may affect the tattooing process or healing.

– Client is under influence of drugs or alcohol.

– Client behaves aggressively or provocatively or have mental illness that can affect tattoo process or aftercare.

Getting a tattoo can be painful, but the level of pain varies depending on various factors such as placement, individual pain levels and the size of the design. You may experience burning, itching and stinging.

To minimise discomfort during tattooing, we recommend you bring headphones to distract you with music or movies and snacks to help maintain your energy levels throughout the session.

Each artist has their own policy regarding the use of numbing creams. Please contact your chosen artist directly to find out whether they allow, use, or provide numbing cream as part of their tattooing service. We also recommend choosing an artist whose style matches your desired tattoo style.

If the scar is more than a year and a half old and no longer pink but completely healed – you can, but these are individual cases, so be sure to give prior notice and send a picture showing the scar.

Cover-up is a technique that helps to cover an old tattoo with a new one. We do cover up tattoos, but first we need to see what you want to cover and what the idea is for the new cover up tattoo. Each case is considered individually.

We have a lot of tattoo artists working in our salon, which means there will always be a space for your desired tattoo in the near future, but it all depends on the style and size of tattoo you want.

Artists work by appointment only. Please choose an artist whose portfolio matches your desired tattoo style and contact them directly to check their next available appointment for consultation or tattoo, including last-minute availability. Artists are also available for appointments on weekends.

Yes, as each client is required to fill in a health form before start of the session and to provide a document confirming the personal details on the form (in accordance with data protection regulations).

Yes! It is also possible to replace the Vaseline used in the process with vegan butter, but the need for this must be brought to the attention of the artist before the session.

In our studio we follow the hygiene rules including the following measures:

– Each artist has been trained and certified to have completed a obligatory hygiene course.

– All tattoo equipment is thoroughly sterilised before each use.

– Certain items such as needles, ink cups, films, spatulas, disposable cups, etc. are used once and disposed of properly after each session.

– Our artists use disposable gloves throughout the tattooing procedure.

– Hands are washed with soap and water before and after each client.

– All surfaces, including chairs and table tops, are disinfected between clients.

– We use disposable coverings to protect surfaces and equipment.

– Before the tattooing process, each client completes a health questionnaire.

– Our studio is regularly cleaned and kept tidy.

– Our artists are in good health, free from infectious diseases and follow good hygiene practices.

– Replacement shoes are used in the studio.

– Clients can wear disposable shoe covers or slippers, which are thoroughly sterilised between wearing.
